EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Dr. Brook Lavinder Keaton was raised in Pearisburg, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Virginia Tech and graduated in 2021 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham – School of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree. Her medical practices include examining, diagnosing, and treating disorders and conditions of the visual, ocular, and systemic system. Some conditions include Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetes, and Autoimmune disorders. That being said, Dr. Keaton prides herself in ocular disease management. She works at our 2016 Meade Parkway location and is excited to bring exceptional eye care to the surrounding community. New patients are being accepted at this time.

PERSONAL:

Recently, Dr. Keaton has become a mother of two, welcoming her sons, Finn and Luka. In her free time, she enjoys being with her boys, as well as her husband, Matt and two dogs, Rocky and Storm. In addition, Dr. Keaton enjoys traveling and playing tennis and soccer for sport.
