EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Dr. Samantha Triplett Stahr is a licensed therapeutic optometrist.  She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2009 with a bachelor of health sciences degree.  She then attended Southern College of Optometry. In 2014, she earned her doctorate in optometry. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association, and Fellowship of Christian Optometrists. Dr. Triplett Stahr takes delight in practicing all aspects of optometry on patients of all ages. She performs comprehensive eye examinations prescribing both glasses and contact lenses in addition to diagnosing and treating eye diseases such as dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, etc. She works at our 1807 S Church Street location and is accepting new patients at this time.

Dr. Triplett Stahr resides in Portsmouth, VA with her husband, Dr. Nathan Stahr, and two children.
